People with Psychosis Who Use Marijuana Have 2-1/2 Times Lower Death Rate

 The more significant point of the study, which it never discusses, is that it demonstrates that psychiatric drugs are killing people at a rate as much as 13½ times the rest of the population! 

'Marijuana has often been demonized as causing schizophrenia, though a cause-and-effect connection has never been shown. Now, though, a new study published in the Journal of Psychiatric Research has documented that people diagnosed with schizophrenia who use marijuana—also called pot or cannabis—live longer than those who don’t, and alcohol use has no impact on lifespan. The authors concluded:

To our knowledge, this is one of the first studies to examine the risk of mortality with cannabis and alcohol in people with PD (psychotic disorders). This interesting finding of decreased mortality risk … in cannabis users is a novel finding and one that will need replication in larger epidemiological studies.'

'I’ve been trying for several weeks to respond to Dr. Alice Keys’ May 9th article from Mad in America titled, “My ‘Head in a Bucket’ Metaphor”. Unfortunately, I’ve been on and off psychotropic drugs since the age of 19, resulting in iatrogenic disabilities severe enough that the U.S. government granted me S.S.D.I. To put it bluntly, my brain does not function reliably anymore. 

My mood, concentration, organizational skills, and stamina cannot be counted on from day to day, or even from hour to hour. For someone who graduated cum laude with a BA in English and with a 3.93 grade point average upon completing my MA in Special Education, I grieve the loss of so many things, my functioning brain being just one of such indignities.'

Junk Science Promotes the Agenda of Psychiatry and Big Pharma

 

'The absurdity of their junk science should be so humiliating that psychiatrists hide in shame. Here are the latest two studies on schizophrenia and its standard treatment.'

 'Junk science again rears its head in psychiatry. This time, there are two pseudo studies trying to suggest that:

• Schizophrenia is the result of brain changes that could be manipulated with drugs, and
• The use of Big Pharma’s drugs does not cause brain damage.

Both studies, published today, are so flawed as to be laughable, but as ever, they’re published in the most prestigious of medical journals, the Journal of the American Medical Association’s Archives of Psychiatry. They will, therefore, be taken seriously and cited to help enforce the brain disease-pharmaceutical treatment paradigm, in spite of the utter lack of proof documenting that schizophrenia is the result of either chemical or physical differences in the brain.'

Psychiatric Incarceration: It Can Happen to Anyone

 

'If you think that you couldn’t possibly be sucked into the “mental health” system, please read this. The woman involved was forced into treatment against her will. It has cost her everything, including her health, her career, and her independence.

 She’s afraid to give her name, worried that her situation could be made even worse—worried that the perpetrators of her destruction might make things worse by suing.
