'The controversy surrounding the link between soaring autism rates and vaccinations continues to escalate. Pediatricians assure parents that most vaccines are safe, but is their word good enough to ease your fears? The research community says there are no conclusive scientific studies which prove that vaccinations cause autism. Opponents of vaccinations also make a valid point, which is that there have never been any long term, double blind studies for any vaccine ever to prove that they are not responsible for the development of autism in children. The vaccine testing, therefore, is on the general population.
