ADHD & Criminals: Drug Corporations Want To Create More Lifetime Customers
'Dr. Fred Baughman, child neurologist and ADHD researcher states that the advent of ADHD diagnoses is a scheme to sell more anti – psychotic drugs to young children by the pharmaceutical corporations in conjunction with the psychiatric community. Baughman insists that a normal development in children has now been socially accepted as a neurological disorder that requires psychiatric treatment.
Annually, Ritalin sales reach the billions and Adderall has unquestionably surpassed the once leading drug treatment for ADHD to become the drug of choice for pediatricians. However, doctors admit that the children “grow out of the symptoms of ADHD” and that none of the accepted pharmaceuticals actually cure the alleged disease.'

'How has Big Pharma managed to get so many children on expensive drug cocktails for "mental illness"? Drugs that they may not even need?
Big Pharma has spent millions on public relations campaigns that tell parents, teachers and clinicians to dose children at the first sign of problems. It knows if parents treat their kids early they will never know if the kids needed the druga in the first place and whether residual problems are "mental illness" or drug side effects. The kids will also probably be life long customers because parents will be afraid to take them off the drugs. No wonder Pharma tells parents not to wait for "excessive energy" or "mood swings" to go away in the awareness campaigns. Ka-ching.'

Psychiatrist Blames Head in Bucket Syndrome for Psychiatry’s Failings

'I’ve been trying for several weeks to respond to Dr. Alice Keys’ May 9th article from Mad in America titled, “My ‘Head in a Bucket’ Metaphor”. Unfortunately, I’ve been on and off psychotropic drugs since the age of 19, resulting in iatrogenic disabilities severe enough that the U.S. government granted me S.S.D.I. To put it bluntly, my brain does not function reliably anymore.
My mood, concentration, organizational skills, and stamina cannot be counted on from day to day, or even from hour to hour. For someone who graduated cum laude with a BA in English and with a 3.93 grade point average upon completing my MA in Special Education, I grieve the loss of so many things, my functioning brain being just one of such indignities.'

Psychiatry Is Garbage Science: Study Demonstrates Fraudulence of Claims
'Psychiatric science isn’t just junk science, it’s outright garbage! This study, which is being ballyhooed for showing that early diagnosis and intervention results in better outcomes, is so bad that it should be an embarrassment to them. Instead, it’s treated like the final proof for their fraudulent claims.''A long term study on the effects of early schizophrenia diagnosis and intervention with standard pharmaceutical treatment is being hailed from the ramparts of psychiatry. At ten years, the study claims that early diagnosis and treatment is showing better results. You can be sure they’ll be used to pressure ever more people into the psychiatric mill for processing.
However, even a quick review of the study shows that it’s so bad that calling it junk science would be inadequate. It’s garbage science, clearly designed to produce a result favorable to the standard treatment used by psychiatry. It is an insult to the people who have been devastated by diagnoses of schizophrenia and the destructive pharmaceutical drugs that further degrade and destroy their lives.'

Fetuses Being Drugged in Womb to Prevent Obesity
Researchers are giving drugs to fetuses to see if it keeps them from being born fat. Even if the drug is 'relatively safe', this can only happen in a system that's gone insane.
'Finding new uses for old drugs is big money. To that end, metformin, a generic diabetes drug, is being given to fetuses to see if it can prevent them from becoming obese. Trials are popping up in several countries, and at least one has already begun in the UK.
Just five years ago, metformin was considered a potential teratogen, that is, a cause of birth defects. Now, though, it's suddenly being seen as perfectly safe. So safe, in fact, that researchers are jumping at the chance to give it to fetuses to see if it might prevent obesity when they're born. However, the claim that metformin is safe does not appear to be universally accepted.'

'Of all the harmful actions of modern psychiatry, “the mass diagnosing and drugging of children is the most appalling with the most serious consequences for the future of individual lives and for society,” warns the world-renowned expert, Dr Peter Breggin, often referred to as the “Conscience of Psychiatry.”
“We’re bringing up a generation in this country in which you either sit down, shut up and do what you’re told, or you get diagnosed and drugged,” he points out.
Breggin considers the situation to be “a national tragedy.” ”To inflict these drugs on the growing brains of infants and children is wrong and abusive,” he contends.
The kids who get drugged are often our best, brightest, most exciting and energetic children, he points out. “In the long run, we are giving children a very bad lesson that drugs are the answer to emotional problems.”'
