How to Make Your Own Vitamin Water

'The idea of drinking vitamin water is definitely appealing. I don’t know of anyone who actually enjoys taking vitamin supplements in pill form. I also know that many people don’t like the taste of plain water. However, the type of vitamin water most people are familiar with, the bottled brand Vitaminwater®, owned by GlacĂ©au, a privately owned subsidiary of Coca-Cola company, is unhealthy — to say the least.

Even Coca-Cola’s attorneys recently admitted that Vitaminwater® is unhealthy in response to a lawsuit filed by the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). In court briefings, one of the attorneys replied, “No consumer could reasonably be misled into thinking Vitaminwater® was a healthy beverage.”

Yet Coca-Cola has marketed their Vitaminwater® for years as a healthful beverage.

In fact, the company has claimed Vitaminwater® reduces the risk of chronic disease, promotes healthy joints, supports immune function, and may also help reduce the risk of eye disease.'

Quackbusters, Skeptics and the Web of Trust

'These so-called quackbusters seem to be a branch of a larger movement, the "skeptics". Their website at www.skeptic.com/ shows who they are. Skeptics think of themselves as having opinions based on scientific 'truth'. They are very outspoken and very much "out there" to disabuse the rest of us of any idea that does not fit into their version of the scientific world view.

While real scientific procedure requires there to be observation and experiment, formation and testing of hypotheses, and open discussion of both experiment and theories, the skeptics have firmly made up their mind on a number of issues. And they don't hesitate to tell us where we are going wrong...

Mercury and fluoride for instance are not poisons for skeptics, and anyone who thinks they are must clearly be a conspiracy nut.

Vaccination is good for you, as are chemotherapy and radiation cancer treatments offered by conventional medicine. If you oppose either of them you are simply a 'quack' or at the least you are an easy target for those who take advantage of your stupidity.'

BUSTED: This Popular "Independent" Health Website is Deceiving You

by Dr. Mercola

'Chances are you've seen WebMD's ad on TV recommending you take their free online depression screening test.'

'But did you know the test was rigged so that no matter how you responded, the answer was always the same: You may be at risk for major depression, and it would probably do you well to discuss it with your doctor…

As it turns out, the test is sponsored by drug giant Eli Lilly, the maker of Cymbalta, and apparently there's no room for mentally healthy individuals in this scheme.

This is a sad commentary on the current disease paradigm we live in…

Although the test states that it's sponsored by Eli Lilly, how many people would automatically assume that this publicized test, offered on one of the most visited health sites on the web, would give them an entirely false result, perhaps designed to push even the most well-balanced individual into considering taking an antidepressant?'

Latest Vaccine Propaganda: It Prevents Heart Attacks

'The H1N1 flu scare was a dismal failure. People informed about the health risks refused to get the vaccination. The United Nation’s World Health Organization tried to stampede people into getting the shot by declaring a level six pandemic. The CDC issued apocalyptic warnings. Most people ignored them.

The medical establishment, however, has not given up its efforts to convince people toxic vaccines are good for them.

A study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal insists the seasonal flu vaccine reduces the risk of heart attack. In a study of almost 79,000 patients at 379 family practices in England and Wales, researchers claim annual flu vaccinations were associated with a significant drop in the rate of a first heart attack, according to the Canadian Press.'
