Whole Foods just announced they’re going to require GMO labeling by 2018. Whoopee. Sorry, but that’s a bogus media ploy to get customers’ trust again after their horrendous sell out to big Agra over the GMO fight, typified by the subsequent illegally crushed proposition for labeling GMOs in California. Where was Whole Foods then? You really think this turn around is anything more than propaganda? They said last time around something to effect of “We’re just a supermarket” in defense of their lack of backbone. Don’t forget that. That’s the bottom line.
Worse than that. This kind of thing is designed to pacify and mislead food activists and others trying to bring truth and awareness to this sick world.'

Whole Foods caught in GMO marketing deception, false advertising ...
'The Whole Foods investor relations executive, Libba Letton, says that GMOs are found everywhere, but only when pressed on the issue in front of a camera. Is that seriously her excuse for why Whole Foods sells GMOs, too? Because everyone else does? Really?
This argument is, once again, based on deception because all the other grocery stores across the country don't slap claims on the sides of their stores that say, "NOTHING ARTIFICIAL, EVER." Only Whole Foods makes such a bold claim on the side of its building. And the claim is not merely false, it is a claim made for the purpose of deceiving customers into purchasing something that isn't what they thought it was.
The claim is also knowingly untrue'.
