The Common Cold Treated as Fearful: Vaccine Is Coming

It’s obviously madness to consider yet another vaccine for anyone, let alone newborns. Yet, that’s precisely what’s in the works: a vaccination for the common cold, which is being treated as a devastating disease and the cause of asthma.


'Everyone gets them at some point: common colds. They’re no fun, but most of us just get on with it. Now, though, we’re seeing news stories that give the common cold a new and fearsome image as that of a killer or chronic disease inducer. Why would a fairly benign and ubiquitous disease get portrayed like that? One could ask the same question about some rather benign childhood illnesses, such as mumps, that are now treated as if they’re devastating killers.
As ever, it comes down to the selling of vaccines.'

WEST NILE: THEY’RE LYING TO YOU AGAIN



'The government PR machine has swung into high gear promoting West Nile disease. It’s a “national outbreak.” 1138 cases in 38 states. 41 deaths. Planes are spraying toxic aerial pesticides.

Never mind that the US Centers for Disease Control claims 36,000 people die every year from ordinary seasonal flu—and there are no announcements of an “epidemic” or an “outbreak.”

CDC Pushes Measles Vaccine Ahead of London Olympics




'This week, the CDC released a digital press kit entitled “Traveler’s Health: 2012 London Olympics” urging everyone to get their vaccinations before they leave for the Olympics. Of the three tips the CDC has for ensuring your visit to London is “healthy, safe, and memorable” — which include learning how to access medical care and looking both ways before you cross the street — making sure you are up-to-date on your vaccines is listed first. Measles is specifically singled out, followed by the vague statement “In 2011, some U.S. residents who traveled abroad got measles.” The CDC notes that these travelers caused 17 outbreaks of measles in the United States last year.'
