The Common Cold Treated as Fearful: Vaccine Is Coming

Baby shocked by vaccine needle

It’s obviously madness to consider yet another vaccine for anyone, let alone newborns. Yet, that’s precisely what’s in the works: a vaccination for the common cold, which is being treated as a devastating disease and the cause of asthma.

'Everyone gets them at some point: common colds. They’re no fun, but most of us just get on with it. Now, though, we’re seeing news stories that give the common cold a new and fearsome image as that of a killer or chronic disease inducer. Why would a fairly benign and ubiquitous disease get portrayed like that? One could ask the same question about some rather benign childhood illnesses, such as mumps, that are now treated as if they’re devastating killers.
As ever, it comes down to the selling of vaccines.'

Vaccinations Inevitably Cause Autoimmune Diseases: PLoS Study

'A major curse of modern living is the advent of mass suffering from chronic autoimmune diseases. They have become the way we live and the way we die. Now, a study published inPLoS One has documented that vaccinations may be causing this plague.
The study, Self-Organized Criticality Theory of Autoimmunity, produced a wide variety of tests on animals to examine the fact that, as they stated:
Repeated immunization with antigen causes systemic autoimmunity in mice otherwise not prone to spontaneous autoimmune diseases.
They concluded:
Systemic autoimmunity appears to be the inevitable consequence of over-stimulating the host’s immune ‘system’ by repeated immunization with antigen, to the levels that surpass system’s self-organized criticality.
In other words, they found that, not only is vaccination a possible or even probable cause of autoimmune disorders, but that:'

Paleo for Autoimmune Illness

'I have a special interest in working with people who experience chronic pain. As happens with many people, it took my own experience to propel me to study and learn more about how to best help this patient population. In 2007, I became very ill with what was later diagnosed as Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.

This is an autoimmune illness (AI) caused by the body mounting an attack on the thyroid gland in an attempt to destroy it. For those who have not heard of this illness, the thyroid is a major part of the endocrine system. It is a gland that makes and stores hormones that help regulate the heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and the rate at which food is converted into energy. Thyroid hormones are essential for the function of every cell in the body. They help regulate growth and the rate of chemical reactions (metabolism) in the body.'

Are You at Risk For An Auto-Immune Disease?

 http://www.livingchronicallyfabulous.com/Images/autoimmune%20disease.jpg

'While your body is designed to defend against a host of environmental invaders, it cannot completely withstand the adverse effects of poor diet, chronic stress and toxic build-up. These common factors can contribute to a group of serious health epidemics including autoimmune (AI) disease, which is rising to the top of the list. Autoimmune diseases include more than 100 unique types such as Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Celiac disease and many others, which are all characterized by inflammatory immune responses that cause the body to turn against its own systems and attack organs and tissues.'

Is There a Cure for Autoimmune Disease?

2010-10-09-IsabelFacialRash.jpg

By Dr. Mark Hyman

'Isabel, a cute 10-year-old girl from Texas who loved riding horses, walked into my office a year and a half ago with one of the most severe cases of autoimmune disease I had ever seen. Her face was swollen, her skin was inflamed, her joints were swollen, her immune system was attacking her entire body--her muscles, her skin, her joints, her blood vessels, her liver, and her white and red blood cells. Isabel couldn't squeeze her hand or make a fist. The tips of her fingers and toes were always cold from Raynaud's disease that inflammed her blood vessels. She was tired and miserable and was losing her hair. Isabel was on elephant doses of intravenous steroids every three weeks just to keep her alive, and she was taking prednisone, aspirin, acid blockers, and methotrexate, a chemotherapy drug used to shut down the immune system daily.'
