If You Don't Mind Cancer Causing Radiation Passing Through Your Food, Keep Using A Microwave
'Are microwaves a benign bastion of convenience or a sinister contributor to biological and nutritional damage? That depends where you attain your health information from. Many believe microwaves are an ingenious time-saving device and wonder how anyone ever lived without them.
Others are aware their food doesn't quite taste the same after microwave use, but unapologetically swear by them just to help them get through the day a little bit faster.
However, a growing percentage are now heeding the advice of holistic health experts advising them of the dangers. Regardless of where you stand, humans are the only animals on the planet who destroy the nutritional value of their food before eating it, and the use of microwaves is no exception.'

A Matter of Life
A Matter of Life -
“A Matter of Life” is a new documentary film in the works that tells the exceptional story of Dr. David Servan-Schreiber, author of the book Anticancer: A New Way of Life, which documents his 20 year fight with terminal brain cancer and his extensive research into a science based anti-cancer diet and lifestyle.
The film features patients, caregivers, doctors and experts who are part of the growing movement that wants to go beyond drugs, and take an integrative approach to fighting cancer and staying healthy. Right up our alley!
I spent some time with the filmmakers earlier this year and it’s clear that they are passionate about being a catalyst for change in the arena of health and the healthcare industry.
I guess they liked what I had to say… cause I ended up in the movie!
Well at least in the trailer anyway, let’s hope I don’t end up on the cutting room floor. LOL!
Nutrition is such a critical part of health and disease prevention, but for the most part the medical industry is ignoring it.
This film could be a major step in raising awareness about nutrition and natural therapies. The world needs to know!
I am so thrilled and honored to be a part of this.
Check out the trailer!"

Tiny Sesame Seeds Pack Legendary Nutrition
'Pumpkin seeds come from pumpkins, sunflower seeds come from sunflowers and sesame seeds come from... sesames?
Actually, sesame seeds come from a tropical plant called Sesamum indicum which is believed to have originated in Africa and today is commercially cultivated mostly in India, China and Mexico. In the Caribbean and southern U.S., sesame seeds are often known by their African name, benne.
Archeological evidence suggests that the sesame plant was grown at least 2,500 years ago and it has a rich mythological heritage. An Assyrian legend tells of the gods drinking a wine made from sesame seeds on the day before they created the world.'

An Avocado a Day…
'If you ask your friends if an avocado is a fruit or vegetable they may not know, but they’ll probably be able to tell you that avocados are high in fat. This fact about the mild-flavored green fruit (yes, avocados are fruits, or more specifically large berries) has given avocados a bad rap as a contributor to obesity, but is this really the case?
Avocados are a very healthy and nutritious food. They are rich in 13 vitamins (A, C, D, E, K, E and 8 types of B vitamins including B-6, B-12 and folate), and are packed full of other nutrients such as potassium, lutein, monosaturated fats and antioxidants. And since avocados can be eaten raw, baked, made into delicious dips and soups, or even blended into your morning green smoothie, avocados really are a tasty and versatile way to boost your health.'

Hospitals Don’t Have a Clue
'It is not going too far to observe that the medical industry is in the grip of madness. Modern medicine has lost its balance making hospitals one of the most dangerous places to be. They are often places that increase our chances of death through medical negligence and ignorance. Certainly they are places that threaten most patients and even countries with bankruptcy because most people and governments can ill afford a form of medicine that is in and of itself a mistake.
Hospitals have served as the cornerstone of modern healthcare systems around the world. Most people today are born in hospitals. Hospitals are those places that touch us most intimately during episodes of severe sickness or disease. Hospitals are predominately where our loved ones go to die and where the rest of us go to see our loved ones suffer agonizing deaths.'

6 Bodily Tissues That Can Be Regenerated Through Nutrition
'It may come as a surprise to some, especially those with conventional medical training, but the default state of the body is one of ceaseless regeneration. Without the flame-like process of continual cell turnover within the body – life and death ceaselessly intertwined – the miracle of the human body would not exist.
In times of illness, however, regenerative processes are overcome by degenerative ones. This is where medicine may perform its most noble feat, nudging the body back into balance with foods, herbs, nutrients, healing energies, i.e. healing intention. Today, however, drug-based medicine invariably uses chemicals that have not one iota of regenerative potential; to the contrary, they almost always interfere with bodily self-renewal in order to suppress the symptoms against which they are applied.'

Paleo for Autoimmune Illness
'I have a special interest in working with people who experience chronic pain. As happens with many people, it took my own experience to propel me to study and learn more about how to best help this patient population. In 2007, I became very ill with what was later diagnosed as Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
This is an autoimmune illness (AI) caused by the body mounting an attack on the thyroid gland in an attempt to destroy it. For those who have not heard of this illness, the thyroid is a major part of the endocrine system. It is a gland that makes and stores hormones that help regulate the heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and the rate at which food is converted into energy. Thyroid hormones are essential for the function of every cell in the body. They help regulate growth and the rate of chemical reactions (metabolism) in the body.'
