1 in 4 Americans will develop cancer at some point in their lives. Drawing from exciting new developments in the fields of nutrigenomics, epigenetics, whole food nutrition, and mind-body medicine, this 3-part course, will explore this alternative view of cancer causation, as well as the profound implications this will have for those who wish to take back control of their health, or that of their loved ones.'

The Importance of Digestive Enzymes & Proteolytic Enzymes - Barron Report
'Anyone who has any understanding of health has got to be taking digestive enzyme supplements with every single meal they eat. Unfortunately, most people think of enzymes (if they think of them at all) as necessary only if they have some kind of digestive problem. (...) But if that's all you think enzymes are for, you've missed the point.
Dr. Howell, in his book on enzyme nutrition, puts it quite clearly when he says that a person's life span is directly related to the exhaustion of their enzyme potential. And the use of food enzymes decreases that rate of exhaustion, and thus, results in a longer, healthier, and more vital life.'

A Matter of Life
A Matter of Life -
“A Matter of Life” is a new documentary film in the works that tells the exceptional story of Dr. David Servan-Schreiber, author of the book Anticancer: A New Way of Life, which documents his 20 year fight with terminal brain cancer and his extensive research into a science based anti-cancer diet and lifestyle.
The film features patients, caregivers, doctors and experts who are part of the growing movement that wants to go beyond drugs, and take an integrative approach to fighting cancer and staying healthy. Right up our alley!
I spent some time with the filmmakers earlier this year and it’s clear that they are passionate about being a catalyst for change in the arena of health and the healthcare industry.
I guess they liked what I had to say… cause I ended up in the movie!
Well at least in the trailer anyway, let’s hope I don’t end up on the cutting room floor. LOL!
Nutrition is such a critical part of health and disease prevention, but for the most part the medical industry is ignoring it.
This film could be a major step in raising awareness about nutrition and natural therapies. The world needs to know!
I am so thrilled and honored to be a part of this.
Check out the trailer!"

Honey Improves Immunity and Relieves Anxiety
'For ages, the anti-bacterial properties of honey have been revered and so it is little wonder that it has been used for medicinal purposes all over the world. If you have a sweet tooth but shrink at the empty calories in processed sugar, honey is your savior.
It's not only sweet, but "nutritionally quite promising," says Engeseth, an assistant professor of food chemistry at the University of Illinois.
Her research indicates that honey seems to offer many of the benefits of the fresh fruits and vegetables that nutritionists recommend for a daily diet.'

Tiny Sesame Seeds Pack Legendary Nutrition
'Pumpkin seeds come from pumpkins, sunflower seeds come from sunflowers and sesame seeds come from... sesames?
Actually, sesame seeds come from a tropical plant called Sesamum indicum which is believed to have originated in Africa and today is commercially cultivated mostly in India, China and Mexico. In the Caribbean and southern U.S., sesame seeds are often known by their African name, benne.
Archeological evidence suggests that the sesame plant was grown at least 2,500 years ago and it has a rich mythological heritage. An Assyrian legend tells of the gods drinking a wine made from sesame seeds on the day before they created the world.'

10 Health Benefits of Cold Showers
'How many of us can actually say that we take regular cold showers? If you're from a colder climate, the number is likely to be even less. However, cold showers and baths have a long history in many cultures, and for good reason. Vincenz Priessnitz, a farmer in the 1920s, developed and marketed a medical treatment he called hydrotherapy.
He sold the concept of using cold water to cure a long list of aliments, and achieved almost instant success. As the 20th century moved along however, the popularity of hydrotherapy began to decline and falter when medical professionals began to rely more on drugs to treat illnesses and the luxury of hot showers began to increase. However, the use of hydrotherapy as a viable medical treatment never completely stopped. Here are 10 of the many reasons why:'

Chilling Statistics: What Are We Doing To Ourselves And Our Children?
'In four words, "we are killing ourselves." Each successive generation is sicker and more diseased than its predecessor. No government agency has ever done, or will ever do anything about it except continue to compile statistics. You are our only hope, so here are the facts.'

Lies About Nutrition, Starvation & Hunger

'One quarter of young children around the world are not getting enough nutrients to grow properly, and 300 die of malnutrition every hour, according to a new report that highlights the effects of the global food crisis. No words in the English language can describe how stupendously off base this report is. This is the biggest lie of the century.
The situation is much worse than this, sadly and horrifically worse.
The report about this crisis reveals nothing about reality but it does show us what a dimwitted race we belong to and it shows that those on the top of the human heap are monsters beyond imagination who have the power to keep our minds living in a thick fog. The real information is needed by doctors to correct and treat the situation but they are left in the dark as well, so instead of helping people they add to the harm.'
