Statins a Complete Hoax

Statins with Warning Sign

As if it weren’t bad enough that statins cause a huge array of devastating harms to health, they don’t even do what they supposedly exist for: prevention of heart disease. A new study that uses unpublished data clarifies the truth.

'A new study shows that the statin story is a lie. They don’t prevent heart attacks or strokes. They do, of course, cause a huge array of adverse effects, including memory loss, muscle destruction, pain, liver damage, and nerve damage—and they do all these things without providing a single benefit.
The claimed purpose of statins is to prevent deep vein thromboses (DVT), blood clots that break off and lodge in smaller vessels of important organs like the lungs, thus causing death of the associated tissues. If the clot develops in the heart muscle, it’s called a heart attack. If it lodges in the brain, it’s called a stroke. If it lodges in the lungs, it’s called a pulmonary embolism. The result is devastating when a clot blocks a vessel.'

Statins Prevent Vitamin D Formation, Causing Muscle Pain & Worse

Statin Side Effects

'The chutzpah of pharmaceutical science and medical practice in presuming to control the body’s processes, without any consideration for adverse effects that can readily be predicted—such as known disorders related to inadequate Vitamin D and CoQ10—needs to come to an end.'

'Inadequate Vitamin D causes muscle pain. The purpose of statin drugs is to lower cholesterol. Is there a connection between the muscle pain that results from statins and inadequate Vitamin D?

There can, in fact, be little doubt. The connection is obvious if you know one fact: Cholesterol is required to make Vitamin D. Therefore, anyone taking statins can be expected to have a deficiency in it.
Let’s take a look at the primary conditions associated with inadequate Vitamin D and adverse effects of statin drugs:'

Dangers Of Lowering Cholesterol Dates Back 20 Years

heart eggs

'Is cholesterol reduction a good thing? Many doctors and health authorities would answer an unequivocal 'yes' to this question, but what does the evidence show. Previously on this site I have shared evidence which strongly suggests that cholesterol reduction, per se, is not necessarily good for our health, and may even be hazardous. Last week's blog post reported on drugs that, although effective for cholesterol, have singularly failed to improve health and may even have hastened some people's demise.'

Human Sacrifice Is Alive & Well In the 21st Century: Statins

 http://www.vivisectioninformation.com/web_images/lipitor.jpg

'Statin drugs concretize and institutionalize a certain myth about cardiovascular disease that the masses are only now beginning to awaken from, namely, that cardiovascular disease is caused by cholesterol and that cholesterol-suppression "therapy" reduces cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.

The 25 billion dollar-a-year commercial apotheosis of Statin drug therapy, purportedly intended to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease, represents a very real post- post-modern form of human sacrifice, implicit in the very etymolgical origin of the word "pharmaceutical":'

Statin Drugs Provide No Benefit: Study of 4 Million People

Disgruntled man questioning taking drugs in his hand

'A population-based study in Sweden shows that the massive deployment of statins has provided no benefit. Three times as many statins were being taken by Swedish people in the year 2000 than in 1998. Yet, the numbers of people suffering or dying from heart attacks were unchanged by it.

Not only does this demonstrate that the massive push to press people into taking statins has been based on flawed ideas, it also turns the claim that randomized double blinded placebo controlled (RDBPC) drug trials are the gold standard.

The study with the unwieldy name, "No connection between the level of exposition to statins in the population and the incidence/mortality of acute myocardial infarction: An ecological study based on Sweden's municipalities", was published today in the journal BioMed Central.(1) The authors' conclusion is quite clear. They do not hem and haw about it:
Despite a widespread and increasing utilisation of statins, no correlation to the incidence or mortality of AMI [acute myocardial infarction] could be detected. Other factors than increased statin treatment should be analysed especially when discussing the allocation of public resources.'

Medical Community Improperly, Unnecessarily Labels Millions With High Blood Pressure

 http://www.cosmosmagazine.com/files/imagecache/news/files/20070416_bloodpressure.jpg

'Millions of people are currently misclassified as having abnormal blood pressure, according to Dr. Brent Taylor from the Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota and his colleagues. Their findings show that these people are not actually more likely to die prematurely than those with 'normal' blood pressure, i.e. below 120/80.

Under the influence of Pharamaceutical directives, Clinical Medicine has encouraged lowering the norms for high blood pressure to ultimately sell more hypertensive medications. Professor Giuseppe Mancia, Director of Clinical Medicine at Milan-Bicocca University announced that there should be new recommended threshold values for systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and that the standard 140/90 mmHg should be lowered to 130/85 mmHg.'
