26 things to get done before the global debt collapse

'The time between today and the day the global debt collapse reaches our shores is finite. The U.S. national debt clock shows a nation spiraling into financial oblivion. When Ron Paul says "Americans should be panicking" over the Fed's new QE unlimited policy of infinite money creation, he was actually holding back. In reality, Americans should have been protesting in the streets... everywhere!'

WHY in the World Are They Spraying? Lifts Veil on Geo-engineering

“WHY in the World are They Spraying?” lifts the veil on a major geo-engineering agenda that is at the forefront of our fight for food sovereignty. There are people who are working full time at controlling the food and thereby, controlling the population while maximizing profit at the expense of those whom they profit from, and like a tick that sucks the blood from its host with no thought whatsoever of the host’s health or well being, these people put profit ahead of life. And it appears that they may be spraying our skies…
I can’t begin to tell you how geo-engineering can change the face of agriculture as we know it.''

Essential Medical Skills to Acquire - Part 1: Introduction, by Cynthia J. Koelker, MD

'If society collapses and you’re on your own, what medical skills seem the most essential?  The answer likely depends on your age, health status, and stage in life.  For those of child-bearing years, midwifery skills may be paramount.

For those advanced in age, diagnosis and treatment of chronic disease becomes primary.  For the otherwise young and healthy, treatment of injuries and infection tops the list.

Our current compartmentalized society has deemed that doctors should perform these tasks, though turf wars abound over what nurses, physician assistants, pharmacist, paramedics, and others should legally be permitted to do.  Recent decades have also seen the trend toward home care for I.V. therapy, nebulizer treatments, dialysis, and much more.  The take home lesson is this:  the layman can acquire many skills once considered the purview of health professionals alone.  Thus, the first step in acquiring these skills is believing that you can do so.'

Americans are Preparing at Unprecedented Levels

'Do you have enough larder to feed your family and some friends if grocery stores ran out of food? How about several assault rifles and a few thousand rounds of ammo? Solar panels, a water filter, medical kits, bug-out bags, fire starters, tents, sleeping bags, some junk silver and reserve gasoline? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

It’s becoming apparent to many Americans that depending on our local, state and federal governments in the event of an emergency, catastrophic societal collapse or widespread disaster will not be sufficient to meet the needs of your family. Residents in Colorado (and likely the other 49 states) are stockpiling in droves and preparing to live off the grid if it comes to that.'

What If Supermarkets Fail Us?

'If you’ve read the news closely these past couple of weeks, you may have found a very interesting item buried somewhere in between headlines: food prices in America grew by more than 1.5 times the overall rate of inflation this year. They went up 1.7 percent, to be precise. The U.S. Department of Agriculture is forecasting a 2 to 3 percent food inflation rate in 2011, a number that many experts expect to be on the low-end. Meanwhile, big agribusiness players like Kraft Foods, General Mills, McDonald’s, Kellogg and Sara Lee have already announced that they will rise [sic] their prices come January.'

Agricultural Commodity Prices Have Exploded And Now The Price Of Food Is Beginning To Rise Substantially In The United States And All Over The World

 http://preparednesspro.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/empty-grocery-shelves.jpg

Editor's note: Health Maven published this article with reservations. Our sole reason for publishing this piece was simply to alert our readers to the fact that the 'Food Bubble" is upon us and this may be our last chance to prepare before disaster fully strikes. We feel this author does a good job of illuminating that one crucial fact.

However, the author does a dismal job of informing us as to the REAL underlying causes of food inflation. To trot out the usual suspects for global food inflation is well, absurd. The food market like the housing market is a manipulated market. In case you didn't know, food is a commodity that investors speculate on.

It's been documented that food speculators have indeed created a "food bubble." The significantly higher cost of food is a key indicator that the "food bubble' is starting to burst. Sure weather is a collateral factor affecting the supply and demand of food. It is not however the primary factor --in this case. And the increasing population 'red herring' argument for food scarcity or the increasing cost of food is an idea plucked right out of the globalist play book.

Stay tuned: Tomorrow we will publish an article illuminating the MAJOR cause behind food inflation.

In the mean time, try and avoid corporate supermarkets like Wal-Mart,who primarily sell GMO laden, heavily processed, industrial food. Instead look for local food sources that produce food sustainably and preferably are organic. Get to know and buy directly from the folks in your community who are dedicated to producing wholesome, Real Food. Join food co-ops and, of course, start your own veggie garden(it's never too late). Additionally, learn how to 'can' food safely and cook all your meals from scratch. Create a food pantry. Learn how to make your own herbal remedies..Eat Real Food and gradually eliminate most processed foods from your diet. You'll not only save money -- your health will improve immensely.

To your health,
Health Maven

'Do you believe that you will always be able to run out to Wal-Mart or to the local supermarket and buy massive amounts of inexpensive food?  If so, you might want to think again.  During 2010, agricultural commodity prices have absolutely exploded.  Nearly every single important agricultural commodity has seen a double digit percentage price increase.  In fact, the S&P GSCI Agriculture Index recently surged to a fresh two year high.  Now food producers and retailers are starting to pass those commodity price increases on to consumers.  Today when I went to the supermarket I was absolutely startled by some of the price increases that I witnessed.

'On some of the items that I most commonly purchase, prices were up 20 or 30 percent.  So just what in the world is going on here?  Well, it turns out that there was a lot of bad weather around the world this year, so many harvests were worse than projected.  In addition, the growing population of the world has an increasingly voracious appetite for food.  When supply gets tighter as demand continues to go up that means that prices are going to increase.'

Corporate Threats to Your Food Supply

'Dr. Mercola interviews Dr. Chopra, an insider who was hired by the drug companies and worked with vaccine development in Europe. He has also worked for the Canadian government, in the equivalent of the FDA. He was a senior scientific adviser for what is now Health Canada for 20 years, working primarily in vaccines and antibiotics.'

Dr. Chopra is a very knowledgeable and passionate about the issues threatening the food supply, and his sentiments echo my own very closely.

'As Small Farms Disappear, the Food System is Crumbling

Most “farming” today is nothing like the small farming of our ancestors. Food production on a massive, corporate level has taken over the natural farming practices that thrived for hundreds of years. As Dr. Chopra said:

“Look at our food supply in Canada and the United States since they were established 200-300 years ago until they started to turn into this intensive industrial farming.

Until then, they were the happiest lands anywhere on earth because food was pristine, pure and it was doing well -- and there was a lot of land and water. Everything was good.

And then came the mechanization -- the chemicalization -- and now it’s come to the elimination of the family farm. How has it happened? This last thing that I’m talking about: we now no longer have family farms left, very few and very far in between.”

Those of you who are new to the natural health scene may find it surprising that the modern food system is in danger of collapsing. The food system began its dramatic decline the second the world turned away from the farming practices of our ancestors, and began to attempt to outdo nature with technology.
