'The battle on fluoridation continues and is burning through the American southwest. Phoenix, Arizona, the nation’s sixth most populous city, is seeking to rid itself of the harmful chemical compound known as fluoride. Come this fall, the Phoenix city council is slated to discuss the future of fluoride and it’s removal from the municipal water supply, a move that has been a growing trend in cities across the United States. Just recently, Albuquerque, New Mexico passed a ruling to put an end to fluoridation in it’s city water system. In 2001, residents of the city of Flagstaff, Arizona, voted by an overwhelming majority to have fluoride removed from their public water system.'

Top Scientist: Fluoride Already Shown to Cause 10,000 Cancer Deaths
'Water fluoridation is a highly controversial topic, with many individuals voicing massive concern over the practice.
In contrast, some stick to the concept that there isn’t any association between fluoride and any real negative effects.
Fluoride, however, is indeed a toxic substance, and has been tied with numerous health complications in well-established research. Fluoride can be found in many water supplies, toothpaste, and even food at alarming levels. National Hispanic civil rights organization votes to oppose water fluoridation
'In an action with far-reaching national ramifications, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the oldest Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States, has adopted a resolution opposing the practice of water fluoridation.'
'The resolution was passed on July 1st at the 2011 LULAC national convention in Cincinnati.
The news adds Hispanic leaders to a growing list of groups and prominent individuals now speaking out against the controversial practice of fluoridation, including former Atlanta mayor and U.N. ambassador Andrew Young, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter and niece Dr. Bernice A. King and Dr. Alveda King, Coalition of African American Pastors President Rev. William Owens, and civil rights leader and minister Dr. Gerald Durley.'

Danger of Bone Cancer From Fluoride in Toothpaste, Drinking Water
A decade later, the International Agency for Research on Cancer reported that fluorides in drinking water induced bone cancer in rats. This finding was confirmed by the National Toxicology Program in its 1989, 1990, and 1991 reports.
"Not surprisingly, Procter & Gamble, the leading manufacturer of fluoridated toothpastes, denied that these results were statistically significant," Dr. Epstein said today. "Surprisingly, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) supported this claim."
