This sleight of hand has occurred across the US. Cities proudly proclaim community gardens but behind the scenes, they have removed the poor’s access to growing food on the land they live on, including simply growing food in pots.

Primarily using recent corporate “food safety” laws as the weapon to curtail people’s producing or sharing or selling food themselves, laws have been put into place and police actions have been occurring that expose a pattern of.'

That was also the message when I visited the home of one of the moms targeted by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture for warnings of possible criminal action for allowing the home to be used as a drop site for farmer Michael Hartmann. The talk there was of anticipating possible actions by the MDA, and making sure, whatever the agency comes up with, not to comply. (You can be sure the agency has its lawyers and police advisers hard at work at figuring out options for trying to force compliance.)'

'Saturday night, March 17. Dateline 8 PM PDT. I received an email from a reader alerting me to the Executive Order — National Defense Resources Preparedness signed by President Obama on March 16. To tell the truth, I thought it was a hoax. Other than The Examiner, I could find no reference to the EO anywhere but on the official White House Press release site.

So what to do? I had already completed the Sunday Buzz but wait, I just had to include this bit of breaking news. And so, for the next twenty four hours, like many of you, I sought to make sense of the fact that there has been no main stream coverage of this event.
I do not consider myself an advocate of conspiracies. But as I consider this wholesale cannibalization of our freedom and of the Constitution, I begin to wonder whether there is some grand plan. Perhaps there is some master puppeteer poised to pull our strings when and if the rise to elitism reaches the pinnacle.'

So with much personal angst, I have begun to believe that the rank and file citizens of the United States of America are being herded down the path to a Police State. Or, better put, will soon be running from the rising tsunami of the police state.

Revolt Against FDA Tyranny

'In 2008, Canadian conservatives introduced a wildly unpopular Bill C-51 - the Food and Drugs Act - legislation regulating foods, therapeutic products and cosmetics. Enraged vendors of herbs, supplements, and other natural remedies fought back hard. Conservatives didn't proceed with the Bill, but instead introduced C-36, the Consumer Product Safety Act, in 2010. C-36 is essentially a revised version of C-51 with the supplements marked as exempt.

Two weeks after the United States passed its most restrictive legislation yet against health freedoms (the Food Safety Modernization Act, S.510), its Canadian counterpart, Bill C-36, was passed into law in December 2010 and will soon go into effect.'

Their crime? Telling the truth, that probiotics can improve health. They stated:'
