Genetically modified organisms (GMO’s) are a newer technology that has spread throughout the modern world – in a short time – with little research of long-term efficacy.

These are the promises Monsanto India’s website makes, alongside pictures of smiling, prosperous farmers from the state of Maharashtra. This is a desperate attempt by Monsanto and its PR machinery to delink the epidemic of farmers’ suicides in India from the company’s growing control over cotton seed supply — 95 per cent of India’s cotton seed is now controlled by Monsanto.'

For example, fibromyalgia, was not a popular diagnosis in the 60's, yet today, it is more common, than not. We see 'run away' morbid obesity, and people who become helpless pharmaceutical repositories obediently following their prescribed chemical path. Each in hopes to actualize their dreams of being healthy and happy again.'

Is the genetically engineered corn you're eating, 'eating' you?

New Report Shreds Claims that GE Crops Reduce Pesticide Use

'A late-breaking study shows that genetically engineered (GE) crops have led to a 404 million pound increase in overall pesticide use from the time they were introduced in 1996 through 2011. This equates to an increase of about seven percent over the last 16 years.

The report, published in the journal Environmental Sciences Europe,1 effectively undermines the declared value of crops genetically engineered to be protected against herbicides and insects. The whole premise for GE crops was to make it easier to kill weeds and diminish crop loss to harmful pests.

But instead, these modified crops have led to resistance, both in weeds and pests, leaving farmers to struggle with an increasingly difficult situation. More than two dozen weed species are now resistant to glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Monsanto's broad-spectrum herbicide Roundup.'

'In a Whole Foods store not far from the corporate headquarters, a customer did the unthinkable. They showed pictures of the rats in the Criigen study to a few other WF customers (all of whom were grateful and asked for the link).

They had brought their computer with the photos into the store to show management how serious GMOs are because despite being asked for a year, management had not removed the GMO canola oil from the items they make in the store.
